I teach Piano, Singing, and Theory at Music World East Malvern.
Eujin is an accomplished pianist, vocalist, and educator who trained at
the Elder Conservatorium of Music in Adelaide under faculty including
Lucinda Collins, Diana Weekes, and David Lockett, with additional
studies at Musikhochschule Freiburg. His conservatorium years
encompassed compositional, jazz, and vocal studies, earning him the
Lewis Dawe Memorial Prize in 2009 and a five-year choir scholarship at
Kent Town Church. Relocating to Victoria, he completed Honours and
Masters degrees at the Victorian College of the Arts under Dr. Donna
Coleman and Professor Ronald Farren-Price, with whom he now pursues
doctoral research into Brahms's piano technique and 19th-century
pedagogy. As a performer, Eujin specialises in German Lieder, French
Chanson, and English Art Songs, and his Brandenburg Trio claimed first
prize at the 2012 Melbourne Conservatorium Chamber Music Competition.
His 25-year teaching practice integrates physiological awareness with
methodologies drawn from Abbey Whiteside, Brahms, Heinrich Neuhaus, and
Van Christy.
